If you are not informed by the company you do not know what to expect from them.  You may be expecting one thing and the company may be expecting the opposite.

An example that we see a lot is that a customer buys a swimming pool from a company that fails to provide the customer with written details of the pool construction.  That customer assumes, due to lack of detail, that the company will haul away excess dirt and hook up the electrical wiring as part of the contract.  Then he finds out at the end of the project that the company did not include those items and the owner must pay extra for that.  You are expecting one thing and the company has no intention of delivering everything that you expect.

Then it is our goal to fulfill your expectations.  If we cannot do this you are going to be unhappy. If you are unhappy you will not sell pools for us. Since we only do small amounts of advertising we sell by word of mouth.  Without your satisfaction we lose you as our happy customer who recommends us.

If quality and performance are built into a product that product will deliver years of inexpensive operation.  If quality is overlooked the product will require expensive repairs.

All swimming pools are not equal.  Sure you can go to two different car dealers and get the same car.  This is because they are produced by the same manufacturer. In construction things are different.  The quality of the product is only as good as the company that manufactures it.  To obtain this quality the company manufacturing the product must use high quality materials that are assembled using only the best methods.

At Tipton Builder's, Inc. we study all the new products and methods available.  We keep up to date on any changes that may occur within our industry.  We train our staff to our standards and constantly update those standards as better equipment and methods become available. Some pool builders method of selling pools is to cut every corner and provide you with a cheap price.  A cheap price is always a reflection of a cheaply built product.  Cheap and high quality do not go together. When choosing a pool builder be sure to ask yourself do I want cheap or do I want quality. Past experience tells us that we will not be happy with cheap because when we get through working on something we bought cheap it will cost us more than buying the quality product to start with.

If you are in a hurry to have a swimming pool built be careful.  If a swimming pool builder can start immediately that means either he has no work or he is going to start the swimming pool then disappear. We have seen numerous cases where a person bought a pool from someone else because they could start immediately. Then the other pool builder would not show up for weeks and it took months to get the pool built.  We have had these people say if they had just waited and let us build the pool by our schedule they would have had the swimming pool completed sooner. A quality contractor will have a backlog of work and will want to complete that backlog prior to starting more work.  You can only man so many projects and if you over load the manpower a lot of details will be overlooked.
